Improvements needed: characters need finishing
Children are young live-action characters that often ask Team Umizoomi for help, primarily in Season 1. This page is for all the notable live-action children that appear in the show.
Season 1[]
Jeannie[]
She appeared in the episode The Kite Festival. Her kite broke just before the Kite Festival, and asked Team Umizoomi to help get all the pieces and put the kite back together. Once they found all the pieces, Milli used her Pattern Power to copy the pattern on Jeannie's dress, orange with yellow flowers, to find Jeannie in a crowd and return the kite.
Michael[]
He appeared in the episode The Aquarium Fix-It. He asked Team Umizoomi to help repair the seahorse's tank in the Umi City Aquarium.
Jake[]
He appeared in the episode Carnival. He lost his favorite stuffed animal named Bunny at the Umi City Carnival and askes Team Umizoomi to help retrace his steps and find his plush before he leaves with his class. They find Bunny on the ferris wheel, and return Bunny safe and sound.
Anna[]
She appeared in the episode Picnic, as well as the season 2 episode Buster the Lost Dog. In Picnic, she made lunch for the team and brought it to school in a lunch box and thermos, but lost them both due her backpack being left opened. Team Umizoomi helps her by retracing her steps and finding the lost lunch. They are helped by Anna's dog Buster, who helps them find the thermos. They they find Anna's lunch box on the bus. They return the lunch to her and now they can have their picnic.
Anna and Buster return in Buster the Lost Dog. Anna and the team are playing with Buster at the Umi City Park, when Buster follows the ball into a truck which drives away with him still on it. Team Umizoomi have to rescue Buster and return him back to Anna. They find him at a construction site, where they help him get down from the scaffolding safely, and reunite him with his owner.
Samantha and Tyler[]
They both appeared in the episode Super Trip to the Supermarket. Samantha's baby brother Tyler wants his favorite snack, but they are all out of the ingredients to make it. Team Umizoomi have to go to the supermarket and purchase all the food needed to make the snack. They find the fruit and yogurt needed, and check out their purchases. They make it back to Samantha and Tyler's house, where they help prepare the snack for Tyler, which he enjoys.
Daniel[]
He appeared in the episode Subway Heroes. It's his birthday, but his dad can't make it in time to the party with the cake due to being stuck on a broken down subway train. Team Umizoomi fix the train and help Daniel's dad make it in time for the party.
Three Children[]
These three appeared in the episode The Milk Out. The entire city is out of milk, and these 3 call at the same time to ask for help. One girl needs milk for cereal breakfast, a boy needs to buy milk with his mom at the supermarket, and another boy said his dad couldn't find milk anywhere. Team Umizoomi had to figure out the problem of the missing milk, so they headed to the farm. It turned out that the farmer who provided the milk to the city was sick so the team filled in his place. They got milk from cows, made different flavors, packaged, and delivered the milk to the city, including the 3 kids. They are all unnamed.
Nick[]
He appeared in the episode The Rolling Toy Parade. He was supposed to lead the Rolling Toy Parade with his toy lion, but his toy fell down a hill and broke right before it started. He needed to find all the pieces and return before the Rolling Toy Parade started.
Anthony[]
He appeared in the episode Special Delivery. He forgot to put stamps on his package he sent to his grandma for Just Because I Love You Day, and needed Team Umizoomi to go to the post office and put stamps on it so it could get delivered.
Andy[]
He appeared in the episode Ready for Take-Off. He was going to go on vacation to the beach but the airplane he was on was not able to leave with too much snow on the runway, so he asked Team Umizoomi to help get rid of the snow and the plane ready to fly.
Dylan[]
He appeared in the episode The Ice Cream Truck. He wanted to get his favorite ice cream treat, a cookie pizza with all his friends. But the ice cream truck got a flat tire, so Team Umizoomi had to fix the ice cream truck's wheel and prepare the ice cream pizzas.
Also featured are Dylan's friends who are unnamed who wait with him for the ice cream truck.
Ethan[]
He appeared in the episode The Wild West Toy Train Show. He lost his ticket to the Wild West Toy Train Show, which blew away into the show in the toy train display, so the team had to go and get it back for him so he can enter.
Sophia[]
She appeared in the episode The Butterfly Dance Show. She was supposed to be the lead singer in the Butterfly Dance Show, but her butterfly costume was missing pieces and needed Team Umizoomi's help to complete it.
Also featured are other children who performed in the show, who were dressed as flowers, bees, and an inchworm.
Kaylee[]
She appeared in the episode The Elephant Sprinkler. She wanted to have fun at the water park, but the elephant sprinkler stopped working, so the team had to go figure out why it isn't spraying water.
Mia[]
She appeared in the episode Playground Heroes. She wanted to go play at the playground with her friends after a storm, but the storm left the playground in a mess. Team Umizoomi had to clean up the park before the Park Ranger got there, as if it wasn't cleaned before she got there, then she wouldn't unlock the gate to the park.
Olivia[]
She appeared in the episode To the Library. She was staying at her grandpa's house, but did not bring her favorite bedtime book, Good Night, Polka-Dot Pirate, over. She can't sleep without it, so the team must head to the library and check out the book for her.
Emily[]
She appeared in the episode Favorite Things Show. She lost her favorite shells, which she was going to show on Favorite Things Day to her class. Team Umizoomi had to retrace her steps to find the missing shells.
Also appearing are Emily's classmates, who interacted with Milli at the beginning, showing her their favorite things. There is a boy whos favorite thing is dump trucks, and a girl whos favorite thing is fireflies.
Sonya[]
She appeared in the episode The Big Boat Race. Her boat that she was going to enter in the Big Boat Race broke, so Team Umizoomi had to repair it in time before the race begun.
Season 2[]
Sam[]
He appeared in the episode Race Around Umi City. Before the race, Dump Truck popped his balloon, so the team, along with UmiCar, decided to try and win the race to get the prize of a bunch of balloons for him.
Colin[]
He first appeared in the episode Chicks in the City. His school had hatched 6 baby chicks as class pets, which he named the littlest one Red Feather after the red feather on his head. But, the chicks got lost in the city after chasing food that came out of a bag of chick food got blown over. Team Umizoomi had to rescue the chicks and return them to the school.
He appeared later in the season, in the episode Umi Toy Store. He wanted to buy the Sparkle Pup toy from the Umi Toy Store. He had enough Umi Cents to buy it, but he lost his coins all across the toy store. Team Umizoomi had to find them for him before the store closed.
Jamal and Natasha[]
They appeared in the episode The Great UmiCar Rescue. These two helped Team Umizoomi get to Iceberg Bay to save UmiCar. Jamal is heading on a train to the same mountain that the team need to pass, so he tells them that they need to get on the train on track number 5. Natasha helps by letting the team borrow her dog for a dog sled to get through the snow to Iceberg Bay.
They appear later in the episode, after UmiCar got a propeller and was flying over the city. The team saw Jamal with his dad, and Natasha with her dog as they passed.
Ellen[]
She appeared in the episode Day at the Museum. She wanted to go on a ride in the space exhibit at the Children's Museum, but her star tokens got lost all over the museum, so the team had to go and find them.
Melissa[]
She appeared in the episode Counting Comet. The team were hanging out at her house, using her telescope to look at the sky. They spot Counting Comet fall down from space, so they go to him so they can help him return home.
Abby and Vanessa[]
They appeared in the episode Umi Fire Truck. Vanessa called Team Umizoomi to help her little sister Abby who got stuck at the top of a treehouse, too afraid to get down.
April[]
She appeared in the episode Umi Egg Hunt. She was hunting for eggs and found a special rainbow egg. However, the egg rolls out of her basket and into a hole, so the team must retrieve it.
Also appearing are Jordan and Kelly, who find a red egg with a bouncy ball inside and a yellow egg with a toy butterfly inside respectively.
Jose[]
He appeared in the episode Shark Car. He has a favorite toy named Shark Car, a toy car that looks like a shark. However, Jose lost Shark Car due to a hole in his bag. Team Umizoomi must return Shark Car to him before he leaves on the ferry.
