City of Lost Penguins is the 2nd episode of the 4th season of Team Umizoomi, and the 60th episode overall.
Episode Description[]
Milli, Geo and Bot are at the UmiCity Zoo viewing the newest animal attraction... 50 baby penguins! But when the Troublemakers arrive, they decide to wreak havoc by letting all the penguins loose. [1]

When the Troublemakers send 50 baby penguins into the city, Team Umizoomi must find a way to get them back to the zoo before the Troublemakers can cause any more trouble trying to stop them.
Synopsis[]
Intro: A Day at the Zoo[]
The episode begins with Team Umizoomi standing on an elephant at the zoo as they greet the viewer(s) and show them all the cool animals, including zebras, monkeys, and lions. Bot loves it at the zoo, and Geo wonders if Umi-Friend has ever been to the zoo. Thinking they said yes or no, the team tells them that there is a brand-new place at the zoo where some baby animals live. They slide down the elephant's trunk and land at the attraction, which is full of water and ice. The new baby animals are penguins, who absolutely adore their new home. It might be small, but it's full of recreational activities for them to enjoy all day long, including icy slides for sliding, a pool of cold water where they can swim, and even little ice caves to hide in. Bot also reveals that this is home to exactly fifty (50) penguins! Geo exclaims that those are the cutest baby penguins ever, but they're also in a tough spot, beyond the team's immediate reach.
Scattered Penguins![]
The TroubleMakers are seen on a tree branch near the penguins' home, thinking the zoo is an ideal place to cause mischief. They then sing their theme song and find the perfect animals to trouble: the fifty (50) penguins. Big Trouble observes that the penguins are exactly where they belong, but Little Trouble gets an idea to put them in different places where they don't belong! He uses his Trouble-Ray to float all the penguins far from their home, and now they are lost in Umi City.
The team is shocked by what they just saw, and Milli realizes the TroubleMakers sent the penguins away. The TroubleMakers admit that no one will be able to rescue the penguins, then drive off in their Trouble Truck, releasing purple smoke on the team. Bot checks his Belly Screen and sees that the penguins are scattered all around Umi City, causing mayhem. They have to get all those penguins home quickly, so Geo calls UmiCar with his Umi-Phone, and he immediately comes to get them.
Their mission then begins as Team Umizoomi gets set to go and performs their stunts in the new "Time For Action" song.
Lunch Special: Penguins[]
As Team Umizoomi drives around the city, they wonder where the penguins are. Bot then gets a call from a restaurant chef, who shows the team that baby penguins are causing mayhem all over the place. Bot assures him that they'll come get the penguins ASAP. When the team arrives at the restaurant, the chef tells them the penguins ran into his kitchen. The team enters but doesn't see any penguins. However, Bot's radar detects penguins in a salad with three (3) tomatoes, a dessert with five (5) cherries, and a bowl of spaghetti with seven (7) meatballs. With a little help from their Umi-Friend, Bot finds all those penguins and takes them out of the restaurant.
Introducing... a 5x10 Ice Wagon![]
While Milli wonders how to fit the baby penguins in UmiCar, she sees that he brought a big ice wagon, which resembles an ice cube tray, for the penguins to sit in while they are taken back to the zoo. The ice wagon has ten (10) rows, each with five (5) seats, for a total of fifty (50), enough for all the penguins. Bot counts the penguins they saved by row, essentially counting by 5s to see how many penguins they've found so far. There were fifteen (15) penguins in the restaurant, which fills the first three (3) rows of the ice wagon.
The team then wonders where the other penguins went, but their friend Dustin calls them. She reports seeing baby penguins running around the arcade when she went there to play some games. The team tells her they'll be there to get the penguins, and then UmiCar takes them to the arcade. But then, the TroubleMakers see them passing by with some of the penguins. Little Trouble tells Trouble Truck to go after them so the team doesn't get any more. The TroubleMakers eventually get splashed by a mud puddle along the way.
Prize Penguins[]
When Team Umizoomi arrives at the arcade, they rush inside through the sliding doors, searching for the baby penguins. They find ten (10) baby penguins stuck inside three toy machines. Geo points out that they need to use coins to free the penguins. Bot finds a bunch of coins of different values in his Bot-o-Mat and affirms that getting the penguins out would be no trouble at all.
Alas, the word "trouble" catches the TroubleMakers' attention. They are standing on top of a game machine. Little Trouble uses his Trouble-Ray to levitate Bot's coins and cut them all in half. The coin halves go bouncing around the table where the toy machines are. Now the team is unable to free the baby penguins unless they fix the correct coins, depending on the cost of the toys.
The machine with bouncy balls costs five (5) Umi-Cents to use, so Bot has to fix the 5-cent coin to get the first three penguins out. He finds one half of the coin, while the Umi-Friend finds the other half. The coin is then fixed after putting the two halves together, and the baby penguins are freed! Bot then gets four more penguins out of a teddy bear machine, which costs eight (8) Umi-Cents to use. Afterward, he gets three more penguins from a toy car machine that costs nine (9) Umi-Cents. Soon, the team finally rescues all the baby penguins in the arcade, completing that part of their mission!
Halfway Point and Beyond[]
Geo puts the ten (10) baby penguins from the arcade into UmiCar's ice wagon, then counts by 5s to figure out how many penguins they've rescued. So far, they've saved twenty-five (25) penguins in Umi City, meaning they're halfway through their mission! As they head out of the arcade, Bot gets a call from Gary, who works at the Umi City Supermarket. He reports that baby penguins are causing mayhem all around the supermarket, and Bot affirms that penguins don't belong there. Team Umizoomi heads straight to the supermarket to get back those penguins.
Fruit Avalanche![]
Upon arriving at the supermarket and entering through the sliding doors, the team spots the baby penguins on top of a fruit shelf at the end of the third aisle. However, as they enter the aisle, Little Trouble borrows the PA speaker to warn customers that trouble is brewing! Geo then notices the TroubleMakers are back, and Little Trouble informs everyone that they'll ensure no one reaches the penguins. Following this, Big Trouble uses his Trouble-Ray to break the bottom two (2) shelves, sending a cascade of apples and watermelons rolling down the aisle straight for the team!
To get past the fruit, Milli steps in and uses her Pattern Power to chop them all up. First, she kicks an apple, then another apple, followed by a "hi-yah!" as she chops a watermelon. As she and Umi-Friend repeat this pattern several times, they successfully make it to the baby penguins, who all slide down the shelf to the ground. The team then escorts them to the ice wagon in UmiCar.
With this rescue, the team has now saved forty (40) penguins, meaning they only need to find ten (10) more to complete their mission!
Big Balloon Zip-Up[]
Geo uses his Umi-Goggles to search for the last ten (10) penguins, locating them at the nearby hot air balloon festival. Bot sees the penguins climbing into the hot air balloons. Unfortunately, that's not the way to get them back home to the zoo either! UmiCar then rushes over to the balloon festival to retrieve the baby penguins.
However, the TroubleMakers pop out of a bush, aiming to increase the difficulty for Team Umizoomi to get the penguins. This time, they both use their Trouble-Rays simultaneously to release the balloons and make them fly away. Now, the penguins have been sent up, up, and away! The people watching are also seen pointing out that the penguins are in trouble because the balloons they got into are flying away.
Geo doesn't let that stop him, as he uses his Shape Magnet to get up to the balloons to rescue the penguins. The lucky shape this time is a star, so the Shape Magnet will stick to any stars on the balloons. Geo finds a star on a purple flower on one of the balloons and zips up there to get the first five (5) penguins. Then, he finds a star on a boat on another balloon and gets up there with the penguins. Now, he has saved four (4) more penguins, but there is still one (1) more in the last balloon. Luckily, on that balloon is a flag on a castle, which has a star on it! After making it up there, the last penguin is rescued, and Geo pulls the rope to take the balloon down to the ground. Now, the team's mission is complete as they have finally found all fifty (50) penguins!
Conclusion: Cold Water, But a Heartwarming Final Arrival[]
The TroubleMakers, relaxing in chairs with lemonade, congratulate themselves on sending the penguins away in balloons. However, they quickly realize their mistake when they see the team returning to the zoo with all fifty penguins! Little Trouble gets upset and mutters, disbelieving that the team has foiled their plans again. He trips on a rope attached to one of the balloons. When Big Trouble tries to help him, the balloon takes off, sending them both floating away, much to Team Umizoomi's relief. Bot assures everyone that the TroubleMakers won't bother the baby penguins ever again.
The team drives UmiCar back to the zoo, singing a song similar to the "Counting by 10s" song, but counting by 5s and explaining that the penguins are on their way home. The penguins even sing along at the end, and one waves at the viewer.
Back at the zoo, the penguins are finally home! The team is proud of saving all fifty penguins, who are equally happy and invite the team to play with them. The team joyfully dives into the water, the splash transitioning to them sliding down the slide: Geo on his skates, Milli on her stomach, and Bot seated on his bottom, holding a penguin. The penguins join in on the Crazy Shake before the team signs off, ending the episode.

- Bot: Well, it's a good thing I have money right here in my Bot-Bot-Bot-O-Mat! With these coins, getting the penguins out will be no trouble at all.
- Big Trouble: (offscreen) Did someone say trouble?
- Geo: It's the Troublemakers!
- Milli: (groans) What are you doing here?!
- Bot: Next stop, Umi City Zoo.
- Big Trouble: Team Umizoomi rescued all the lost baby penguins.
- Little Trouble: (annoyed) Oh, I don't believe it. They saved the day again. Oh!
- Big Trouble: I got you. I got you. Whoa! I don't got you!
- The Troublemakers: [Both screaming]
- Geo: There go the troublemakers.
- Bot: They won't bother you penguins ever again. Now let's get these 50 frosty penguins home where they belong.
