Cuckoo Bears is a song from the episode Cuckoo Bears. This is the song that the Cuckoo Bears play every hour, when the big hand points to 12 on the clock that they live in. The first song is sung near the beginning of the episode, while the reprise is sung near the end right before the Crazy Shake.
Lyrics[]
- (Note: Italicized lyrics are talking and not singing.)
Purple Cuckoo Bear: Get ready to clock and roll!
Cuckoo Bears: Seven o’clock, time to get up!
Pour a little juice in your favorite cup!
Drink it all down with some bacon and eggs!
Blue Cuckoo Bear: Walk out the door on your fuzzy little legs!
Cuckoo Bears: Twelve o'clock, it's the middle of the day.
The sun is shining, it's time to play!
Your belly growls, you need to munch!
Blue Cuckoo Bear: Break out the honey, it's time for lunch!
Cuckoo Bears: Eight o'clock, is what the little hand says!
Put on your jammies, it's time for bed!
Golly gee, you sure are doing fine!
Look at you, You're telling time!
Reprise[]
Announcer: And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, the Cuckoo Bears!
(the Purple Cuckoo Bear appears behind the curtains, smiling)
Purple Cuckoo Bear: (waves his hat and then puts it back on) Hello, Umi City! We are delighted to be here! Joining us up on stage, the mightiest superheroes around, Team Umizoomi!
Cuckoo Bears: The Cuckoo Bears are here to stay
Bot: (tap dancing) Rocking out almost every day
Orange Cuckoo Bear: Every day
Cuckoo Bears: Golly gee, we sure are feeling fine!
Blue Cuckoo Bear: Geo!
(Geo plays the double bass)
Blue Cuckoo Bear: Ooh!
Purple Cuckoo Bear: All right!
Geo: Take it, Milli!
(Milli plays the piano)
Orange Cuckoo Bear: You go, girl!
Milli: Back to you, Bot!
Bot: (still tap dancing) Scit, scat, fidlee-dee
Bop, bop, biddlee bop, Umizoomi
All: Golly gee, we're feeling fine!
Trivia[]
- The original version is one of the few songs that the members of Team Umizoomi do not sing, others being I'm the Shape Bandit, the Sports Robots Songs, The Dragon Songs (except the Stinky Dragon's song), They'll Never Get This Sunshine, Gotta Run, The Amazing Cleaning Gizmos, The Troublemakers Theme, the first version of The Incredible Presto, Deep Down Under The Sea (although the three team members do participate), the commercial version of Super Soap, the Robot Dance, and Stop the Umis. The reprise doesn't count as Bot sings "Scit, scat, fidlee-dee Bop, bop, biddlee bop, Umizoomi" near the end, and at the end, he and everyone else participating sing "Golly gee, we're feeling fine!"
Errors[]
- During the line, "Your belly growls, you need to munch", the Purple Cuckoo Bear's belly growling doesn't make any sound.
- At the end of the first song, the background that was from the beginning is used instead of the nighttime one.
- During the line, "You're telling time", the Blue and Orange Cuckoo Bears stand up while the Purple Cuckoo Bear falls down on his knees.
- During the reprise of the song, when the Cuckoo Bears says "Golly gee, we sure are feeling fine", the Blue Cuckoo Bear is singing, while the Orange Cuckoo Bear's mouth doesn't move. But when they along with, Team Umizoomi say "Golly gee, we're feeling fine", the Team's mouths don't move and the Blue Cuckoo Bear is not singing and he is playing his trombone, while the Orange Cuckoo Bear is.
- In the Brazilian Portuguese dub, Geo's "Take it, Milli!" line is removed instead of being translated.
- In the French dub, Milli's "Back to you, Bot!" line is removed instead of being translated.
