Hop Into Summer (Short)

Hop into Summer is a short for the month theme of the same name. It was used in June of 2013. Unlike all of the other month themes, has a short instead of a song. It shows some scenes with some of the Nick Jr. characters doing summer activities and all having fun,

Characters[]

Team Umizoomi (Milli, Geo, and Bot)
Dora the Explorer (Dora, Boots, Pirate Piggies, and Swiper)
Peter Rabbit (Peter, Benjamin, and Lily)
Bubble Guppies (Gil, Molly, Goby, Deema, Oona, Nonny, and Bubble Puppy)

Scenes[]

These are the different scenes in the short.

Intro[]

Peter Rabbit leads Dora and the Bubble Guppies into the forest to the lake for some some fun summer activities. Team Umizoomi hops on some wild daisies, and follow the group to the lake in the forest.

Kites and Canoes[]

Nonny and Benjamin, who has Peter and Lily with him, are both flying kites. However, Benjamin's kite flies higher, and takes Benjamin for a flight. Peter and Lily try to catch him, but they miss and see that the wind will get weak enough so he can get back down.

The second scene shows Gil, Molly, and Deema are all rowing in a canoe in the lake.

The Beach[]

The scene starts with the Pirate Piggies on the lake's beach as they put on their sunglasses, lie on beach towels, and just relax. On another part of the beach, Deema is humming while she's building a sandcastle. Nearby, Benjamin has gotten himself stuck in a sandhole. Peter and Lily manage to pull him out, but he lands on Deema's sandcastle, destroying it. Deema has a look of disappointment and annoyance on her face, which ends the beach scene.

The Baseball Game[]

If you look closely in the beginning, you can see that Swiper has swiped one of the bases. Some of the Nick Jr. friends are playing together: Batting Team: Gil and Molly; Field Team: (Pitcher) Peter, (Fielders) Dora and Bot. Peter tosses the ball to Gil who hits it hard. Dora tries to catch it, but Bot exclaims that it's a homerun.

The Picnic/Finale[]

This is the last scene. It shows Benjamin eating most of the berries and Molly, Dora and Boots thinks that he likes the berries. Team Umizoomi hops on top of the smores and joins everybody at the lakeshore in watching the beautiful sunset over the lake in the forest, which makes the perfect ending for the short.
