The Cuckoo Bears are a band of mechanical bears powered by gears. They are Team Umizoomi's favorite band. They are based on a New Orleans dixieland band. Each of them are a different color. Their noses and inside of their ears are also a different color as well. They only appeared in the episode "Cuckoo Bears".
About[]
The Cuckoo Bears live in inside the Umi City Cuckoo Clock at Umi City Park. Every hour when the big hand strikes twelve, they pop out of the clock to perform a show before the clock chimes. They play their instruments and sing when they power up. Their power comes from the gears in the middle of their chest. It is constantly moving, and if it is removed, the bears will power down as well as the wind makes them spin too fast and blow off. Their gears are a different shape as well as their noses and inside of their ears are a different color.
First, Geo rescued the Blue Cuckoo Bear's gear, and next, Milli rescued the Orange Cuckoo Bear's gear, and last, Bot rescued the Purple Cuckoo Bear's gear. At the end, the team and bears start their performance together.
Personality[]
The Cuckoo Bears love to play music, and are all good friends with one another. They are often cheerful. As each of them powered up after losing their gears, they were worried about the other powered down bears, and not being able to perform on time, showing that they all deeply care about their friends, as well as caring about being able to perform their music for all the people in Umi City.

- Orange Cuckoo Bear: She's the band's banjo player. She's the only female member of the Cuckoo Bears. She is slender, and has purple eyes, brown eyebrows, brown eyeliner, an orange nose, a beige muzzle, and an orange gear inside her body. Her ears are orange on the inside. She wears an orange dress with lighter orange diamonds and white edges on her top and stripes on her skirt, a red-orange and dark red long-sleeved shirt, and orange legwarmers. She also wears an orange and light orange-striped headband with an orange and white flower over her head. She has the smallest nose of the Cuckoo Bears. Her gear is the shape of a heart. When the wind is blowing, her flower on her headband spins around. Voiced by Robin Clark.
- Purple Cuckoo Bear: He is the leader of the band and based on a blues musician. He is the lead singer, but he also plays the harmonica. He typically likes to wave his hat or throw it in the air. He is slender, and has blue eyes, dark purple eyebrows, a magenta nose, a lavender muzzle, and a purple gear inside his body. His ears are magenta on the inside. He wears a purple tartan long-sleeved shirt with a purple and dark purple-striped bow tie, purple suspenders with diamonds and white edges held by dark purple buttons, purple pants with dark purple stripes, and a white hat with purple stripes, a round-edged brim, and two holes for his ears. His gear is the shape of a triangle. When the wind is blowing, the wind blows his hat off as he holds the right of his brim and puts his hand on his chin, scared. Voiced by P.T. Walkley.
- Blue Cuckoo Bear: He's the Cajun-accented trombone player of the band. He is obese (due to his rotund build, huge heart and large tummy), and has brown eyes, dark blue eyebrows, rosy cheeks, a pink nose, a sky blue muzzle, a large belly, and a blue gear inside his body. His ears are pink on the inside. He wears a blue checkered long-sleeved shirt with a sky blue and cyan-striped bow tie, a blue and sky blue vest with diamonds, a white and periwinkle patch and white on the edges, blue pants with denim blue stripes, and a white hat with sky blue stripes and a round-edged brim. He has the biggest nose of the Cuckoo Bears. His gear is the shape of two rectangles with sides that point horizontally and at the top. When the wind is blowing, he grabs the brim of his hat.
