The Troublemakers (sometimes typed as The TroubleMakers) are a duo of antagonists who like to cause trouble in Umi City. They are the personification of "trouble" and the primary antagonists of Season 4, and the only regularly reoccurring antagonists in the series.
Description (from Nick Jr. Website)[]
This chaos-causing duo keeps the team on their toes! They love creating big trouble in Umi City with the help of their Trouble Ray and their Trouble Truck. Watch out for this pair behind every corner! [1]
Bio[]
They use a weapon called the Trouble Ray which fulfills their malicious troublemaking ways, and a vehicle they call the Trouble Truck which they use to get away before getting caught. The Troublemakers also like to steal food. It is unknown where exactly they live, but it is known that they have a rhombus-shaped headquarters located in outer space which they use in "Umi Space Heroes," and they also have an underwater hideout which Little Trouble uses in a spy movie from the episode "Movie Madness!" In that case, they could own many strange buildings that they use as hideouts, but maybe live in their own secret house in Umi City. When they appear in an episode (except for "Umi Grand Prix!"), the Troublemakers Theme plays after they introduce themselves.
Personality[]
Both TroubleMakers have similar personalities. They like to cause chaos in Umi City and try to stop Team Umizoomi from fixing those problems. However, Little Trouble acts smarter and stuck-up, while Big Trouble is slightly dim-witted. When their plans go wrong, they both tend to blame each other for who caused the problem, until they get stuck in their own trouble!
From "Stolen Lunches" to "Movie Madness!," they start to cause more food-related trouble and use the Trouble-Ray less often (usually once or twice per episode). Additionally, starting with "Stolen Lunches," their theme song changes slightly to make it more silly, and the Trouble Ray's effect changes from purple lightning to purple bubbles.
It is currently unknown why they like to cause chaos, but they likely cause it just for fun. By the end of the series, they are the only antagonists to never reform and turn good (mostly due to their hostile behavior).
Physical Appearance[]
The TroubleMakers both have light lavender skin, pointy ears, and orange and purple uniforms.
Little Trouble is shorter and wider. He wears purple glasses and orange gloves. His orange hair is styled into a mohawk. He also speaks in a British accent. His outfit has long pant legs.
Big Trouble is taller and thinner. He wears purple ski goggles and blue gloves. His blue hair stands up. The character speaks in a goofy voice. Big Trouble is sometimes called "Old Chap" by Little Trouble.
Trouble Truck, the Troublemakers' getaway vehicle, is gray with indigo fenders over the tires. He also releases a large cloud of gasoline. His focus is not above average as he sometimes crashes into certain things, like a big mud puddle or a trash can.
Powers[]
The TroubleMakers both have the power to cause trouble with a powerful weapon known as the Trouble Ray. The gadget is used mostly to cause trouble (hence the name) and almost stop Team Umizoomi. It was used to cause all sorts of mischief, including but not limited to, destroying a boy's dragon skateboard, and levitating fifty (50) baby penguins at a zoo so they get scattered all over Umi City. But the one power the TroubleMakers don't have that Team Umizoomi has is true cooperation.

Trivia[]
- They most reoccurring antagonists in Team Umizoomi with a total of 8 appearances. The second is Dump Truck, with 4 appearances.
- Their names were not revealed until the episode "Movie Madness!," where they split up. Because of that, the team did have to refer to them individually instead of as a group.
- They are not completely the evil versions of Team Umizoomi, as they do not have math powers and there's only 3 members compared to the Team's 4, so they are not the complete opposite.
- They are seen with additional outfits in their final appearance, "Umi Space Heroes." Little Trouble had a purple mask on his head and an orange cape, and Big Trouble had a purple cape. Some people/sources consider those their space outfits, but they aren't really spacesuits.
- In addition, the Nick Jr. website used these newer outfits in the TroubleMakers' profile picture in the Team Umizoomi webpage instead of their regular outfits.
- As seen in the animatic for The Boy with the Dragon Skateboard, the duo were originally intended to have more physical comedy, mainly towards Big Trouble.
- For instance, instead of the duo arriving on Trouble Truck, they instead slid in, with Big Trouble sliding too far and crashes into Little Trouble, and land on the ground.
- When they try to high-five each other, they instead miss.
- Instead of just jumping into Trouble Truck after being discovered by Team Umizoomi, Big Trouble overshoots his jump, causing him to go over Trouble Truck and have him be left behind, having him chase after Trouble Truck and hold onto it as it's leaving.
- The Troublemakers' mischievous acts are most seen to be around food, which they also love, like stealing lunches, overflowing the city with meatballs, pouring maple syrup on the road, stealing snacks from a movie theater, and firing a peanut butter cannon at an air base to cover it in peanut butter (Trouble Truck only).
- The TroubleMakers never appeared with DoorMouse (mostly due to conflicts) until Umi Grand Prix!, however, they never directly interacted with each other.
- They are similar to Wario and Waluigi from the Mario series, as they are a troublesome, mischievous duo with one shorter, wider member and one taller, thinner member. Also, both are rivals to the main protagonists. Their color schemes are similar as well.
- The Troublemakers are similar to, a mix of, and bare resemblance to the Minions and their evil counterparts from the Despicable Me franchise:
- All are round creatures wearing goggles, gloves, and suits.
- All commit villany.
- Both have had interactions with bananas.
- The Troublemakers and the Evil Minions are destructive, purple, creatures who bring bad luck, coincidentally, both characters debuted in 2013.
- They both stole the moon.
- The Season 4 episodes that the Troublemakers don't appear in are:
- Robo Tools
- The Sunshine Fairy (The episode's antagonist was Grog)
- Little Panda Joe
- Gloopy Fly Home
- Umi Ninjas (The episode's antagonist was Squiddy the Squid)
- UmiCops! (The episode's antagonists were The Stinky Dozen)
- Umi Knights
- Lost Fairy Tales in the City
- Sleeping UmiCar
