Synopsis[]
Intro: UmiCar and Shark Car: Best Friends[]
The episode begins with Team Umizoomi, as will as UmiCar and Shark Car, ant the starting line for a big race which they are so ready to win! This race is called the Umi Grand Prix, one of the biggest car races around. Other vehicles have also applied for the race, such as Taxi Cab, Mail Truck, and School Bus!
Time for the Prix[]
When the race is about to begin, Team Umizoomi puts their racing gear on and gets ready to take their place at the starting line! In this race, DoorMouse will be the announcer, and he announces the Shape Bandit, Dump Truck, Squiddy, and the TroubleMakers, Team Umizoomi's nastiest rivals, who are also in the race! When the TroubleMakers show their feelings about being unbeatable in the race, Geo argues against that in an ironic way. Bot can tell that this race is going to be rather difficult, as they will have to face four (4) rivals at the same time! Can UmiCar and Shark Car beat them and get past the "obstacles" in their way? They will find that out as the race begins! After all the racers start moving, the team counts eleven (11) racers ahead of them, so they try to see if they can race past them all!
The Tricky Shape Bandit[]
The Shape Bandit steals shapes wherever he goes. He sees bridges shaped like a crescent, two (2) triangles, a rectangle, and a trapezoid, respectively. He takes them away using his purple whirlwind to stop UmiCar and Shark Car from passing him. As they approach each gap, they must figure out which ramp has the highest number, as that will help them to jump over the gap and continue back on the road! After getting past all the gaps, as well as the Shape Bandit's motorcycle, his own whirlwind goes out of control and steals both him and his motorcycle by dropping them into a river. DoorMouse makes a comment about that, as well as UmiCar and Shark Car's progress - they pass Mail Truck and Tractor on their way! Now, Team Umizoomi has passed (3) racers, leaving eight (8) more to take the lead!
Tug-of-Cars[]
The scene then cuts to Dump Truck, who, at that moment, is right in front of UmiCar and Shark Car. As DoorMouse makes the commentary, Dump Truck does a dirty trick to keep UmiCar and Shark Car from catching up to him. He dumps wet cement everywhere, and Shark Car gets stuck in it! UmiCar lends a hand by throwing a rope for Shark Car to grab on, then pull him out. Bot finds out that UmiCar has a force of four (4) power. However, his Robot Computer tells him that in order to free Shark Car, the pulling force must be fifteen (15) power. To help UmiCar increase his pulling force, the team counts from four (4) to fifteen (15), and successfully pops Shark Car unstuck, completing this part of the mission! Now, they just have to catch up to Dump Truck.
Dump Truck Cough-Up[]
As Team Umizoomi catches up with Dump Truck, they see that the street splits three (3) ways, and UmiCar and Shark Car must figure out which path the racers are on to catch up! Later, in the next two intersections, Dump Truck tries to stop them again by releasing black smoke from his engine. Because of that, the team starts losing their sight of the road ahead. Then, once the smoke gets out of the way, they do see another split. However, after taking the right paths, they successfully pass Dump Truck, who gets frustrated and accidentally dumps out his cement around him. This leaves himself to get stuck in it, as DoorMouse makes another comment about that. Then, DoorMouse sees UmiCar and Shark Car pass Taxi Cab, Pickup Truck, and School Bus, and comments that they are a persistent and unstoppable team. They even sing about how great teamwork can be. After which, Bot finds out that they passed seven (7) racers now, leaving four (4) more to take the lead.
By the Seaweed[]
The next racer UmiCar and Shark Car need to pass is Squiddy the Squid. Apparently, he does catch sight of them from behind. To stop them from passing him, he instantly comes up with way to cause trouble. He uses his "latest invention" - a seaweed blaster! That way, he can launch seaweed on UmiCar and/or Shark Car to trap them in it! Unfortunately, UmiCar gets caught by the seaweed, but then Shark Car eats it to clear it off and get him unstuck. However, Squiddy sees them continuing to catch up, so he tries to blast more seaweed to try and trap them again! He launches two (2) balls of seaweed, and one (1) more. Team Umizoomi must add them up and tell Shark Car to chomp that number of seaweed balls. They see three (3) balls of seaweed altogether, and Shark Car eats them one at a time, while Bot counts them. After which, Squiddy blasts three (3) more balls of seaweed plus two (2), making five (5). Since Shark Car chomps it up again, Squiddy blasts the rest of the seaweed in his blaster, which turned out to be four (4) balls plus two (2), or six (6) altogether. After Shark Car chomps that seaweed too, Squiddy runs out of seaweed! Team Umizoomi immediately passes him, so he tries to make the Squidmobile go faster, but then, a buzzer sounds when he hits a button. It launches him out of his ejector seat and into the ocean and DoorMouse comments on that, too! Then, DoorMouse sees UmiCar and Shark Car pass Striped Car and Tow Truck, and tells the audience that the race is getting very close! Now, Team Umizoomi only has to pass the TroubleMakers to get to first place!
Hundred Sticky Meter Sprint[]
The scene cuts to the TroubleMakers in Trouble Truck relaxing while they continue to be in the lead. However, when Trouble Truck tells them that Shark Car and UmiCar are behind them, they try to look for an opportunity to use the Trouble-Ray and make some trouble. To their surprise, they see a maple syrup factory nearby. Therefore, they decide to use the Trouble-Ray to spill it on the road so it can go onto UmiCar and Shark Car, and get them stuck! When Geo sees that the syrup is coming behind them in a giant wave, Milli directly states that the cars' velocities must be immediately increased; they will get stuck otherwise! Bot's Robot Computer tells them that UmiCar and Shark Car are to drive at a speed of one hundred (100) units per hour to avoid getting caught, so Team Umizoomi counts by 10s to 100 to do so. This strategy works, as they successfully make it past Trouble Truck! When the TroubleMakers see that UmiCar and Shark Car passed them, the wave of syrup lands on them instead, getting them stuck themselves, just like Dump Truck! Little Trouble starts complaining about the stickiness, while Big Trouble starts eating it, also thinking if only they had pancakes to go with it, much to Little Trouble's annoyance.
Conclusion: UmiCar and Shark Car Win![]
UmiCar and Shark Car have taken the lead and soon, they cross the finish line and win the Grand Prix! They helped each other out very well, and they are awarded by DoorMouse with shiny gold medals! Then, the other racers congratulate them for winning and defeating the TroubleMakers! The team also gives big thanks to Umi-Friend for their support during the race. All the racers and DoorMouse then join in on the Crazy Shake before the team signs off, ending the episode.
